Who Me?!

If this were a dating site I would want to be really honest with you, because I prefer being genuine so you know what you are getting. I rather work in my pajamas at home, I have to run at least 4 days a week and have for the last 15 years, I love my autonomy so you can't be too needy. Sometimes I travel and when I do, I prefer a good mix of sitting around, eating and then going to see the sights. My family is loud and we love food and a fart joke is always funny to all of us. I love non-fiction books, self-help books, detective novels, any book written by Erik Larson and cookbooks. Action movies are my favorite, especially the fight movies or movies with a great fight scene. I used to work as a fashion stylist and I'm a huge fan of interior design. I think fly fishing is fun, but not camping. I have nothing against a good frozen meal or napping while the kids play. I love to laugh and it's important for you to find me funny. I'm overly empathetic, but very feisty. I used to think that I knew everything and now, I am now open to the fact that I could be the dumbest person in the room. I have a bachelor's degree, so I am qualified to be qualified.

I get really punchy after 11pm which means all jokes are the funniest I have ever heard and apparently my oldest child inherited this trait as well and on rare occasions we sync up and it's quite a sight. I sat next to Kiefer Sutherland at a Jonny Rockets in LA in 1999 and embarrassed my self in front of Tim Meadows in Old Town in 2016. I have 5 major embarrassing stories that happened mostly in my sophomore year of college and yes, one of them involves toilet paper and a perm. My mother is Japanese and my father is American and I mostly identify with neither. I really love holding babies. I grew up mostly in Seattle, but I have lived in many places since my dad was in the army, Germany is the most exotic on the list. My favorite foods ever have to be sushi and butter, but not together. Tokyo is my favorite place on earth. I have never wanted to be anything else in life, but a photographer and I have wanted nothing else, but to have a family and be a photographer and I have never deviated. I love families and I think the most important thing you can do is be apart of one in whatever capacity you find. I honestly, hand-over-heart believe serving your community is something that will help you feel whole.
